Three; Triple. Etymology uncertain. Shalash was a goddess worshipped in the Hurrian, Eblaite, and Babylonian pantheons. She was considered to be the consort of the god Dagon. In the Hurrian tradition Hepat was their daughter, and Shalash was worshipped as a part of the Kaluti (or offering lists) of both Hepat and Sauska. Her Mesopotamian equivalent was Ninlil. Shalash can be used as a first name, middle name, or a last name.
