Leho
Leho Name meanings & History
Brave warrior, soldier. Coined in the 1930s by Julius Mägiste, an Estonian linguist. He probably intended the name to refer to Lehola (also known as Lõhavere), the castle of Lembitu, an Estonian chieftain. Nowadays, however, the name is also associated with Estonian lehe, the genitive case of leht, "leaf". Leho is a popular baby name in Hawaii and is often used to honor the Hawaiian culture and heritage. The name Leho is also given to boys who are believed to be brave and strong warriors, or who come from a family of warriors. This name can be used for boys of any origin who are thought to have warrior-like attributes.
