A known bearer of this name was Inyuwa Nampitjinpa (b. between circa 1920 to 1922, d. 1999), an Australian Aboriginal painter who was also the mother of fellow painters Walangkura Napanangka (b. between circa 1938 to 1946) and Pirrmangka Napanangka (c. 1945-2001). Inyuwa is used as a first name for both boys and girls in Nigeria, particularly among the Hausa people.
